Spiritual

The spiritual formation program at Bishop White Seminary is an integral part of the seminary program. Each seminarian is assigned a priest Spiritual Director who assists the seminarian in developing a firm foundation for prayer. A Bishop White seminarian is encouraged to develop a personal discipline of both private and public prayer. The motivation for this discipline should not be seen as a burden to be carried or an obstacle to be overcome. Rather, students should begin to experience this discipline as one of love and joy.

Daily Mass, the Liturgy of the Hours, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Marian devotion, and frequent celebrations of the Sacrament of Penance serve as the core of our spiritual formation program.
