As the Gonzaga campus welcomed the parents and families of students for Fall Family Weekend (Oct 22 – 24), Bishop White Seminary also hosted the visiting families of seminarians. The seminary chapel was filled during the vigil mass celebrated on Saturday as relatives got a taste of liturgical life at Bishop White. Rector Fr. Darrin Connall was joined by Fr. Patrick Hartin, a member of the seminary formation faculty and a professor of religious studies at Gonzaga University, in offering the liturgy. The seminary schola prepared music specifically for this mass.
Following the mass, a social and dinner was held for the visitors. Families came from places including Pocatello, ID; Tri-Cities, WA; and the Seattle area.
